Chisago and Waseca counties were entered wrong in the county data file. You can edit your exiting file to fix those two counties copy this file in its place. This file should be in your /program files/dak software/mnqp directory.

 Updated MNCOUNTY.DAT

Last update 02/2/2005

There are will be two versions this year to use. The first is very much like last years version, the only changes are to support the 3 character abbreviations and a few minor changes that came about due to feedback from last year. Also it now supports a master.dta file if you want.

This is in the Version 1.4.X series. Includes updated county file

Download MNQPLogger Ver 1.4.0  as self installing/uninstalling file.

A second version which I'm calling 2.0.0 series has radio support, SoundBlaster voice keying and CW keying. Both versions use the same log file format so you will be able to switch between them for testing.

Update 2/2/2005, includes updated help file for new features of CW and Voice Keyer

Version 2.0.0 Notes

MNQPLogger Version 2.0

As this is a big step and the program is now trying to manipulate the hardware on the computer problems are bound to arise. I have only tested this on a limited set of computers and hardware variants. Basically I've tried to keep everything as generic as possible to avoid problems.

CW Keying via either parallel port or Serial Port (COM1 and COM2 only)
Voice Keyer using sound card with PTT via either Parallel Port or Serial Port (COM1 and COM2 only)

Radio support is supplied via using VE3NEA's Omni-Rig interface. Omni-Rig is included in the MNQPLogger install package in should install without any other intervention.
Currently the following radios are supported by Omni-Rig.
Others can be added fairly easily.
TS-440, TS-570, TS-850, TS-870, FT-817, FT-847, FT-857, FT-897, FT-1000,
FT-1000MP, IC-718, IC-737, IC-746Pro, IC-756ProII, IC-761, Elecraft K2,
TenTec Paragon II, Ten-Tec Orion, JST-245, FT-100D, FT-900, FT-920,
FT-990, IC-706MKiiG, IC-735, IC-746, IC-756, IC-7800

You can use radio control on any COM port on the system however if you use serial port cw keying and ptt MNQPLogger currently only supports that on COM1 and COM2 at the standard interface address's. I hope to fix that in a future so the serial port keying tracks the rig setup via the Omni-Rig interface.

This version supports 1 or 2 radios. If you have 2 radios installed, you can enable Radio A/B switching in the ports setup dialog. This will allow use output the switching signal on Pin 14 of the parallel port. This is what is normally used to switch SO2R box's.

In order to support cw keying and ptt and radio A/B under Windows 2000/XP MNQPLogger uses a device driver to get access to the ports. The consideration here is that in order for this to work properly under a normal user account, MNQPLogger needs to be installed under an Administrator account.
If you install MNQPLogger under and account without admin privilege, you can use the program 'cfgwinio.exe' to get the port driver installed later. Do this when logged in as an administrator, reboot the machine and the port driver will work under a normal user account.
Icons are provided in the start menu to install and remove this driver. MNQPLogger will attempt to do this for you at install and removal time so you shouldn't need to do this manually.
