The
source monitored section selects which stations will get displayed on the screen. Any means a message from any station is displayed. In Station Number you can select witch station you display on the screen, and if your using Ethernet, IP address allows you to select a station by IP address.
In the
message types to monitor section you can select any combination of messages that you want to monitor. You might for instance not want to monitor Band / Tuning messages, as they will come every time someone tunes a radio, perhaps causing you to miss some other message that you want to watch for.
The
bad messages checkbox enables the displaying of messages that have any kind of error in them.
The
Show Debug Info box when checked, adds an extra amount of information in each display message, showing the Calculated Checksum, the Received Checksum and the length of the message.
The
Monitor Ethernet Echo allows you to monitor messages that are echoed back to you from a Ethernet connection.
