The logging tab allows you to control if received message's are saved to disk and if so which ones.
The
source logged section selects which stations will get saved to disk. Any means a message from any station is saved. In Station Number you can select with station you save to disk, and if your using Ethernet, IP address allows you to select a station by IP address.
In the
message types to log section you can select any combination of message that you want to log. You might for instance not want to log Band / Tuning messages, as they will come every time someone tunes a radio, and can eat up a bunch of disk space. The
bad messages checkbox enables the logging of messages that have errors in them. If not enabled, bad messages are NOT logged.
The
Show Debug Info box when checked, adds an extra amount of information in each logged message, showing the Calculated Checksum, the Received Checksum and the length of the message.
The
Log Ethernet Echo allows you to log messages that are echoed back to you from a Ethernet connection.
