The Computer tab has settings that relate to general items in the operation of the program.
The two check box's
Gateway Ethernet to Serial and Gateway Serial to Ethernet control if the program routes messages from one port to the other. Be careful to not generate a routing loop if you use this function.
The
Custom Message to Send edit box allows you to type in any type of message to be sent.You can use this to generate special messages, of course they have to be valid CT types and must be formatted correctly to work. The counter below displays the length that the message will be when sent. (Including Checksum)
The current custom message can be sent using this screens
Send Custom Message Button or from the main screen's Send Custom Message menu selection
You can also cause a message with a bad checksum to be sent by using the
Send Msg with Bad Checksum button.
