AB_Switcher is a program to allow radio a/b switching on a comport Under WriteLog and other logging programs with out use a parallel port on the host computer.It has been tested with WriteLog and N1MM.

The current program now also supports switching of the Receive Focus as well as the Transmit focus.  This works under N1MM when in the $5S02R mode. A second com port is used to output on DTR and RTS the necessary data to switch external S02R box's that support Receive Focus switching.

Basically this program monitors that sound card mixer output levels and switchs the DTR on the chosen comport to reflect the current radio TX focus in WriteLog and N1MM.

It also can monitor a second sound card and output on a second comport information about the state of the RX focus. (Left/Right/Split). It does the by watching the sound card mute controls for the selected inputs. 

The current feature list includes:

• Select which sound board to follow (if you have more than one)
• Select which com port to send out the TX radio a/b info (can not share com port with any other function)
• Allows inverting the sense of the output (normally DTR is low for radio A)
• Works with microHam without any external hardware interface.
• Use a simple opto coupler interface to drive other SO2R hardware via the LPT input.

• Select a second sound board to monitor
• Select the 2 audio input lines that are being used on this soundboard for left and right radios
• Select a second comport to use to output the RX switching information.
• Works with N1MM and microHam hardware. May work in other configurations.

• Should work with most any type of com port (on board, usb etc...
• Program displays current state of RX focus and TX focus.
• Can map any output function to any comport pin (RTS/DTR)
• Runs minimized in the system tray.
